Responsibilities:
Identifying, collecting, and analyzing legal documents, including wills, trust agreements, and investment spreadsheets.
Developing and maintaining efficient tracking and accounting systems to streamline tax preparation.
Preparing U.S. federal and state estate tax returns, fiduciary income tax returns for trusts and estates, as well as individual and non profit returns.
Preparing probate and fiduciary accountings along with necessary extension filings.
Addressing IRS notices, resolving pending tax issues, and tracking critical deadlines to ensure full compliance.

Skills:
Exceptional organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor???s degree in Accounting.
Proficiency in Estate Val Software (EVP), ProSystem FX, FastTax, or GEMS.
Minimum of two years of direct experience as a tax Fiduciary Accountant.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of estate planning processes, trial balance sheets, and electronic data collection systems.
