-Master's in Taxation -Experience with tax preparation software (Thomson Reuters UltraTax)-Preferred experience working with high-net-worth individuals, small businesses, or complex tax matters (e.g., multi-state taxation, international tax issues)-Familiarity with tax audits and the ability to represent clients before the IRS or state tax authorities-Providing proactive tax advice, including retirement planning, estate planning, and business tax strategy
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field-Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Enrolled Agent (EA) status-Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in tax preparation, tax planning, or related roles-In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, particularly those related to individual and business tax returns-Experience with tax preparation software -Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in tax filings-Excellent communication skills to explain complex tax issues clearly and effectively to clients-Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines, especially during peak tax season-Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
