Also manages a comprehensive tool and equipment database, tracks preventative maintenance schedules and work orders, and ensures all information is accurately inputted into a computer system. They are also responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing tools, including unpacking new stock and initiating requisitions to replenish inventory. Effective communication and relationship-building with vendors are also essential aspects of this position.
Responsibilities:
Issuing tools, parts, and equipment to workers; maintaining records of issued items; monitoring and keeping an active inventory. Tool maintenance: cleaning, sharpening, calibrating, and lubricating tools. Maintaining a database of all tools and equipment, keeping track of preventative maintenance sheets and work orders, and inputting this information into a computer. Receiving, storing, inspecting, and distributing tools to employees. This also includes unpacking incoming stock and requisitioning items to replenish inventory. Communicating with vendors and building working relationships with them.
Working hours: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM

* High school diploma or GED
* Minimum 2 years experience or training
