- Position Type: Direct Hire (You are a permanent employee from Day 1)
- Shift: 1st Shift - 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday
- Pay Rate: $34.86-$41.78 per hour depending on experience

Under limited supervision, you will design, fabricate, repair, and improve tools, jigs, fixtures, simple molds, gauges, and dies to exact manufacturing tolerances. Working from CAD drawings, sketches, or models, you will plan and execute projects using the most efficient and economical methods.
Responsibilities:
- Design, construct, and maintain manufacturing tools, gauges, fixtures, jigs, or dies using CAD software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Perform high-precision machine room operations to exacting tolerances and dimensions.
- Plan project procedures and select appropriate materials and machinery.
- Collaborate with production teams to successfully implement new tools/fixtures into the manufacturing process.
- Troubleshoot and solve complex problems regarding work-holding, machine settings, and fabrication methods.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area following 5S methodology and safety regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing activities.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of a manufacturing environment (standing, lifting, etc.) and maintain punctual, consistent attendance.

Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of factory-related tool and fixture making experience (or an equivalent blend of education and experience).
- Machining Skills: Proficient in Vertical CNC Mill and Lathe programming, setup, and operation.
- Software: Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM programming (Mastercam, SolidWorks, etc.) and basic MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Inspection: Skilled in using precision hand tools, optical comparators, and CMM equipment.
- Design: Proven ability to design/build both machine and weld fixtures for production.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Trade School or completion of an Apprenticeship program is highly preferred.
- Certifications: Ability to obtain a forklift license.
