In this dual role reporting to the Director of Operations & Engineering Manager, the Training/ESD Coordinator will support a skilled and compliant workforce by providing effective hands-on training and maintaining a robust ESD control program. This role works closely with their direct reports and HR to meet training needs and ensure ESD best practices are consistently followed.

Responsibilities:

• Training Specialist: 
  • Conduct training of personnel and perform certification criteria and requirements
  • Partner with HR to provide direction regarding training content, delivery, scheduling and other logistics as needed
  • Assess employee skills and provide feedback to management
  • Perform on the job training of newly hired production employees on processes for their assigned department
  • ESD Coordinator:
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on ESD Practices, compliance and control
    • Perform routine ESD audits of workstations, equipment, personnel and ESD-protected areas
    • Maintain, test, and replace ESD control elements as needed
    • Analyze ESD-related issues and failures, implement corrective and preventive actions

    Education: Not Specified

    Experience: 12 months

    • Soldering experience is a plus
    • Prior certifications or experience with IPC and/or ESD is a plus
    • Must be comfortable using MS Word, Excel and an online platform for certifications

    Physical:

    • Job requires that employee is able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
    • Must be able to lift 25 - 50 pounds
    • Must have excellent eyesight and hearing (cannot be color blind)

    Skills:

    • Electronic manufacturing experience
    • IPC knowledge
