Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and hold accountable a team of 7-10 mechanics in a fast-paced environment.
Install specialized equipment onto various truck classes (light-duty to Class 8).
Troubleshoot technical issues related to vehicle upfitting (wiring, hydraulics).
Provide direction, assign jobs, and manage the shop schedule to ensure efficient execution.
Uphold high quality standards in all installations and builds.
Champion safe work practices across the team.
Collaborate with the team to achieve company goals.
Working hours: 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Welding skills (MIG, Stick) are a plus.
Experience with snow and ice control products, service bodies, or dump bodies.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience in automotive or truck equipment installation/uplifting.
Expert knowledge of automotive electrical wiring systems.
Strong understanding of hydraulic systems.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of mechanics (7+people).
Proficiency in technical troubleshooting.
Competent in using computer systems (MRP/ERP software) for job management.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
