Operate and monitor tube laser cutting machines to produce precision?cut metal components

Load, unload, and secure tubing materials according to job specifications

Set up machine parameters, adjust tooling, and verify correct cutting programs

Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and adherence to fabrication drawings

Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting

Read and interpret blueprints, cut lists, and fabrication instructions

Maintain accurate production records and follow all shop documentation procedures

Work collaboratively with supervisors, welders, and fabrication staff to meet nightly production goals

Follow all safety protocols, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and equipment handling

Support continuous improvement efforts and maintain a clean, organized work area

Working hours: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM

Overtime available based on production demand

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Standing, bending, and moving for extended periods

Working in a fabrication shop environment with heat, noise, and metalwork

Preferred Experience (Not Required)
Experience with BLM, Trumpf, or similar tube laser systems

Background in metal fabrication or CNC laser cutting

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
1?2 years of experience operating laser cutting equipment (tube laser experience preferred)

Good understanding of fabrication processes, metal types, and cutting tolerances

Ability to read blueprints, tape measures, and technical drawings accurately

Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with automated machinery

Basic computer skills for machine programming and job tracking

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on night shift
