Responsibilities:
- Working in a team environment to assemble upholstered parts, mechanical, and electromechanical components.
- Understand and use the proper equipment to produce high-quality upholstery, including performing side sewing.
- Analyze rejected product, communicate findings with the Lead Assembler, and assist in problem resolution.
- Assemble various components using hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment ensuring all specifications are met.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Experience with machine sewing
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Experience with hand tools
Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of safety
- Repetitive motion, reaching, and lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in a noisy environment
