Spherion is seeking Utility Locators to support a growing utility services team across Wisconsin. In this field-based role, you'll work around construction and excavation sites, locating and marking buried utility lines before digging begins.
You'll manage your own daily schedule and travel to job sites using company-provided equipment. This role is ideal for someone who prefers an "office" without walls and thrives working independently in the field.

What You'll Do
- Manage a flexible schedule to attend to emergency, routine, and relocation requests
- Utilize provided technical tools to locate utilities and mark them clearly using industry-standard indicators
- Provide clear communication and guidance to excavation crews and authorities
- Work outdoors year-round and handle weather conditions safely and effectively
- Analyze area maps, site plans, and digital databases to determine the precise location of buried assets
- Locate and mark everything from standard utility lines (gas, water, electric) to complex duct banks and service taps
What You'll Bring
- Valid driver's license
- Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screen
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work 40+ hours/week, including weekends as needed based on workload
