Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications and welding requirements.Perform welding operations using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, on a range of materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.Set up and operate welding equipment, including welders, grinders, and cutting torches.Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications.Inspect welds for defects and ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment and work area.Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to welding processes and equipment.Document and report on project progress, materials used, and any challenges encountered.

AWS (American Welding Society) or equivalent welding certifications are a plus.Familiarity with robotic or automated welding systems.Experience in metal fabrication, including cutting, bending, and forming.Capacity to troubleshoot and find solutions for complex welding challenges.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
A minimum of 2-4 years of professional welding experience.Expertise in MIG, TIG, and Stick (SMAW) welding is essential.Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.Understanding of the properties of different metals and their reactions to heat.Strong commitment to working safely and following all company and industry regulations.Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various positions.
