Job Description:
As a Welder you would be welding thin metal pieces and structures. You would also use fabrication equipment and perform quality checks as well.
Responsibilities:
- Weld and assembler metal pieces and structures to meet proper specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Use equipment including saws, grinders, and welding machines
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet proper standards
- Wear proper PPE at all times to remain safe
- Assist in other areas as needed
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 24 months
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience welding thin gauge metals
Physical:
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Standing / Walking
- Repetitive Motion
- Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
- Pushing / Pulling
Skills:
- TIG and MIG welding
- Reading blueprints and schematics
- Understanding of metal types and thicknesses
- Basic math
- Stick welding (preferred)
