We are seeking a skilled Welder and CNC Burn Table Operator to join our clients fabrication team in Brewton. The ideal candidate will have experience with both manual welding techniques and setting up and operating CNC cutting machines using oxy-fuel and plasma torches. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, fabricating parts, and ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the cutting and welding process.

Responsibilities:
Set up and operate a CNC burn table with both oxy-fuel and plasma cutting capabilities.
Accurately read and interpret blueprints, CAD files, and technical drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and cutting requirements.
Perform welding tasks using various processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) to assemble and repair metal components.
Select the correct materials and cutting tips/nozzles for specific jobs, based on material type and thickness.
Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to load and unload steel plates and finished parts.
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct in-process and final quality checks to ensure all parts meet specifications.
Maintain accurate production records, including material usage and part traceability.
Adhere to all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean work environment.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in a metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing environment, specifically with CNC cutting tables.
Proficiency in manual welding techniques and experience with different types of metal (e.g., steel, stainless steel).
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to use and interpret precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
Experience with CAD/CAM software or knowledge of G-code is a plus.
Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production goals.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
