Staffing and Recruiting Firm Among the 50 Top Franchises for Financial Performance and Franchisee Satisfaction
ATLANTA – Franchise Business Review (FBR) has recognized Spherion Staffing and Recruiting (Spherion) as a 2026 Most Profitable Franchise. The brand is one of just 50 franchise systems nationwide to earn a spot on the annual list, further reinforcing Spherion's reputation as a strong and attractive franchise opportunity.
Franchise Business Review, a franchise market research firm, provides the only rankings of franchise brands based solely on actual franchisee satisfaction and performance. FBR publishes its rankings of top franchises as well as industry reports throughout the year that highlight research about the top franchises in different industries.
To identify the award-winning companies on the list of this year’s Most Profitable Franchises, FBR analyzed data from more than 29,000 franchise owners representing 330 brands regarding their overall satisfaction with their brand and their likelihood to recommend it to others. Other factors include the annual income of franchise owners and the minimum startup capital requirement.
FBR surveyed Spherion franchisees across 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including training and support, operations, franchisee relationships and financial opportunities.
“We are proud to receive this recognition because franchisee profitability is our ultimate metric of success,” said Kathy George. “This award belongs to our franchise owners, whose hard work and dedication drive Spherion forward. We’ve always believed that our job isn’t just to provide tools, but to support our franchise partners every step of the way. Everything we build together is based on their financial success.”
In addition to its Most Profitable designation, Spherion has earned spots on FBR’s “Culture100” list, Top Franchise for Women and Top Franchise lists in the first half of 2026. In 2025, FBR honored Spherion with six awards in the following categories: Top 200 Franchises, Most Profitable Franchises, Franchise Rock Star, Top Franchises for Veterans, Top Franchises for Culture, and Top Franchises for Women.
