National Recognition Underscores the Strength of America’s Most Awarded Staffing and Recruiting Franchise’s Community and Culture

ATLANTA — Spherion Staffing and Recruiting (Spherion) announced today that it was named to Franchise Business Review’s seventh annual “Culture100” list for the fourth consecutive year, which recognizes 100 franchise brands with the strongest company culture, based on survey results from franchisees.

With 94% of its franchisees saying they feel supported by their peers and believe that leadership acts with a high level of integrity, Spherion continues to prove that genuinely investing in people—franchisees, job seekers, colleagues, clients, and the community alike—is how the company builds better places to work and grow.

“One of the things I’m most proud of at Spherion is how our franchisees show up for each other. Whether they’re sharing best practices, mentoring new franchise owners, or celebrating wins across the network, there is a genuine belief that we’re all working toward something bigger than ourselves. Our culture is built on a true family feel; the support here isn’t just professional, it’s deeply personal,” said Kathy George, president of Spherion. “That commitment to our shared mission—to drive careers, grow businesses and better the communities that we call home—is just part of the story. Our franchisees celebrate and support one another, and even our corporate support team, through personal milestones, illnesses and losses. Many even frequently vacation together. This unique combination is what makes our culture so special. This recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects the experiences of the franchisees who live our values every day and maintain a genuine connection to our entire franchise network, even after their retirement.”

In addition to leading in company culture, Spherion has also earned honors as a Top Franchise for Satisfaction and a Top Franchise for Women for the fourth consecutive year, joining the company’s long-standing streak of recognitions as a Top Franchise for Veterans (2022-2025), Most Profitable Franchise (2022-2025) and Most Innovative Franchise (2022-2024). The 2026 rankings for these awards are set to be released during the second half of the year.

"Culture fit is one of the most critical, and most elusive, factors in a franchise investment decision," said Michelle Rowan, President of Franchise Business Review. "At Franchise Business Review, we survey thousands of current franchise owners to understand how they truly feel about the brand they've invested in. Our data measures the indicators that matter most to a thriving franchise culture: whether franchisees feel genuinely supported by their franchisor, and how effectively franchise teams and support staff collaborate to achieve shared goals. The brands recognized on this year's Culture100 list earned franchisee ratings that outpace the industry average by 20% to 50% across these key cultural dimensions. For anyone exploring franchise ownership, these are the brands worth knowing about first."

Spherion was among more than 330 franchise brands representing over 29,000 franchise owners that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research on the best franchise cultures. Franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems. The brands that were selected received the highest overall ratings based on 17 unique areas that contribute to a strong company culture, including leadership, core values, franchisee community, and engagement.
