Job Description:
Join a team that values your expertise! We’re seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and improve critical equipment in a busy production environment. This is your opportunity to use your technical skills to keep operations efficient, safe, and on track.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and record all activity in the CMMS for accurate tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with multi-shift maintenance teams to meet production, quality, and performance goals.
- Actively troubleshoot complex control systems and mechanical systems to achieve optimal performance.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, drives, PLCs, wiring, and power distribution.
- Fabricate and install custom equipment with machining, welding, and related tools.
- Contribute to Lean Manufacturing projects focused on efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.
Education: High School
- Diploma required
- Additional technical/trade school preferred
Experience: 36 months
- A safety-first mindset and commitment to maintaining a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- 3+ years of experience in a production maintenance or industrial environment.
- Comfortable working independently with limited supervision and stepping up for overtime or weekend work when needed.
- Goal-oriented person who likes to actively learn and obtain new trainings and certifications to grow in their role.
Skills:
- Strong skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; PLC and motor drive experience preferred (Allen-Bradley a plus).
- Ability to troubleshoot, read blueprints/CAD drawings, and use precision tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Familiarity with MS Office and eagerness to learn new technologies or earn additional certifications.
- Thorough understand of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) application and adherence to all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
