Responsibilities:
What You'll Do:
Become the Account Maestro: Manage the day-to-day operations for your assigned client groups, seamlessly handling additions, changes, and terminations.
Ease Whiz: Expertly maintain and manage group and benefits structures within our Ease platform, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
AMS Ace: Keep our policy information in AMS up-to-date and accurate, ensuring data integrity.
Renewal Navigator: Lead the annual quoting and renewal dance, coordinating with carriers, analyzing options, and providing clear, insightful recommendations to our clients.
Compliance Champion: Educate clients on their compliance responsibilities and expertly guide them through broker compliance tasks, keeping our company risk-free and informed on industry regulations.
Claims Crusader: Be a supportive resource for clients with claim-related questions, reviewing issues and escalating them effectively to carriers for swift resolution.
System Savvy: Ensure all our systems and records are current, accurate, and compliant with company standards.
Client Whisperer: Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients through proactive communication, addressing their questions and requests with professionalism and a friendly touch.
Administrative Pro: Utilize the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) like a pro to complete tasks efficiently and deliver insightful reports.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience managing group accounts and benefits structures in Ease.
Familiarity with AMS platform and compliance support processes.

Qualifications:
What You Bring:
Proven experience in account management or a similar client-facing role within the insurance industry.
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in navigating and maintaining information within CRM or benefits administration systems (experience with Ease and AMS is a significant plus!).
A solid understanding of insurance principles and the renewal process.
Knowledge of health and welfare compliance standards (HIPAA, PHI/PII).
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to client service.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help others.
A connection to or appreciation for the Santa Barbara community is a bonus!
