The ideal candidate is an analytical problem-solver who possesses strong technical accounting skills, a background in inventory, manufacturing, or freight/logistics costs, and the capability to communicate fluently in both English and Mandarin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor looking to fully own a department structure.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Closing: Lead month-end and year-end closing processes to produce timely, accurate balance sheets, income statements, and statements of cash flow.
General Ledger Management: Oversee all general ledger activity, sub-ledger entries, asset management, and complex bank and account reconciliations.
Cost & Transaction Control: Audit and manage specialized industry expenditures, including accrued freight, trucking fee allocations, vendor billings, and manufacturing/logistics cost overrides.
Global Conversions: Assist with or manage international subsidiary financial reporting, multi-entity transactions, and intercompany ledger reconciliations.
Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure all recorded financial data complies strictly with US GAAP and corporate compliance guidelines. Detect bookkeeping errors to safeguard the company against audit risks.
Workflow Automation: Utilize advanced Excel functions and corporate Business Intelligence (BI) tools to automate reporting schedules, optimize workflows, and minimize manual ledger entry errors.
Audit & Tax Support: Prepare schedules, trial balances, and clear documentation to support external CPA teams during annual corporate audits and regional tax declarations.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Credentials: Active Certified Management Accountant (CMA) status or progress toward a CPA license is a major advantage.
Core Traits: High level of confidentiality, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and an analytical mindset toward operational budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor???s or Master???s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience. Background in Logistics, Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, or Manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
Languages: Native-level or professional fluency in English and Mandarin (written and verbal) is required to collaborate effectively with overseas subsidiaries and partners. Knowledge of Cantonese is a plus.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with mid-to-large-tier ERP accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, QuickBooks, Kingdee, AS400, Infor) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
