Responsibilities:
Fabrication & Mechanical Assembly
Reading Technical Documents: Interpret engineering blueprints/drawings, routing sheets, and specification sheets to accurately assemble parts and sub-assemblies.
Assembly & Fastening: Fasten parts together using various methods, including bolts, screws, speed clips, or other required fasteners.
Testing: Set up and test completed products and sub-assemblies per final specifications using test benches and required tools.
Quality Control: Proactively detect and report discrepancies regarding parts or documentation; package and move finished products to the final backflushing area.
Electronic & Specialized Assembly
Wiring and Component Placement: Install and wire electrical and electronic components (such as modules and circuit boards) according to specifications.
Soldering (Optional): Utilize soldering equipment and techniques to build parts, components, or secure wiring (experience is a plus).
Troubleshooting: Perform basic testing and troubleshooting on assembled systems to ensure proper function and conformance to specifications before final packaging.
Skills:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Experience with ERP Systems and Microsoft Suite, desired.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 35 pounds regularly.
Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions and correspondence.
