We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and personable Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our residential property in Hearne, Texas. The ideal candidate will assist the Property Manager in overseeing leasing, maintenance, tenant relations, and financial performance to ensure a high standard of service and property value.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily management of residential properties.
Respond to tenant inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
Conduct property inspections and coordinate maintenance requests with vendors.
Support leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
Collect rent, track delinquencies, and assist with collections.
Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, maintenance, expenses, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with all property management laws, company policies, and lease agreements.
Help prepare budgets, financial reports, and performance summaries.
Support marketing efforts and resident retention initiatives.
Supervise onsite staff or contractors as needed in the absence of the Property Manager.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or other property management certification.
Knowledge of local housing laws and fair housing regulations.
Experience managing tenant move-ins/move-outs and unit turnovers.
Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in property management, leasing, or customer service.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Reliable transportation and valid driver???s license.
