Bookkeeper Job Description Provides friendly and courteous customer service to client and to all staff. Professionally answers the phone or responds to emails, assisting clients as needed. Performs all tasks with an extremely high attention to detail. Set up and maintain filing systems for each client.Perform transactional accounting duties to include: Recording bills and printing checks as requested, recording deposits, maintaining general ledger. Reconcile client bank and credit card statements. Seek management approval on non-routine transactions or unusual client requests. Prepare and produce monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports for clients. Provide accurate and timely payroll services for each client, including quarterly and annual payroll tax return submissions. Issue various end-of-the-year documents, including W-2?s and 1099?s Input budget numbers into clients? QuickBooks as requested. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements. Operate within RBS accounting compliance expectations. Assist and collaborate with other RBS bookkeeping staff to keep the workload balanced. Maintain your work hours accurately by client for RBS billing purposes. Perform other duties as assigned.
