Responsibilities:
Uncover Opportunities: Conduct deep market research to pinpoint new leads, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes across commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential sectors.
Forge Connections: Actively generate new business through strategic networking, industry events, cold outreach, and by building long-lasting relationships with developers, architects, general contractors, and property owners.
Drive the Deal: Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and understanding client needs to collaborating with our expert engineering teams on compelling proposals, negotiating terms, and securing new projects.
Be Our Ambassador: Represent the company at industry events, boosting our brand visibility and staying ahead of the curve on industry trends and technological advancements.
Strategize & Report: Maintain meticulous records in CRM, provide insightful reports on sales performance, and collaborate with leadership to refine our growth strategies.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills - you're a natural at building rapport and trust.
Self-motivated, proactive, results-driven, and possess an diligent work ethic.
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Architectural preferred), or a related field.
4 years of progressive experience in business development or sales within the AEC industry, specifically selling professional services.
Demonstrated experience selling MEP and Fire Protection engineering services is highly preferred and a significant advantage.
A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
A deep understanding of the design and construction process, project life cycles, and key stakeholders.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel as required to client sites, industry events, and company offices.
