This position will support the operational success of the clinical departments, and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management for clinical supplies, durable medical equipment (DME), and instruments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure supplies are efficiently stocked, tracked, and available
Highlights:
- Temporary, estimated duration of 3 weeks
- Pay rate: $21-$25/hr
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage inventory of clinical and janitorial supplies, DME, vaccines, and patient education materials.
- Track usage, rotate stock, monitor expiration dates, and dispose of expired items appropriately.
- Set and update par levels and inventory management tools (e.g., Kanban cards, barcodes) across departments.
- Place supply orders, obtain quotes, monitor pricing changes, and coordinate with multiple vendors.
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors, accounting, and revenue cycle teams to track costs and ensure budget alignment.
- Support vaccine inventory tracking in Epic and Wisconsin Immunization Registry (WIR).
- Handle supply and medication recalls; disseminate updates and product training information as needed.
- Assist with staff training and serve as a backup to the Autoclave/Kanban Technician.
Qualifications:
- Current Wisconsin LPN license or graduate of an accredited medical assisting program
- Familiarity with Epic and WIR systems highly preferred
- Minimum 2 years? experience in a healthcare environment, including supply/inventory coordination required
- Previous experience in supply chain or materials management preferred
- Proficient in PC use, typing, inventory systems, and communication (verbal and written)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work professionally with staff, vendors, patients, and clinical leadership
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on-site in a clinic setting
