In this role, you'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of precision part creation. You will primarily focus on setting up CNC Milling and Lathe machines and running production parts to meet strict quality requirements. This involves interpreting technical blueprints, performing initial quality checks, and maintaining machine efficiency to deliver components that meet the company's high standards. This is where your expertise directly contributes to the success of the operation, helping not just the company, but your own career, get to a better place.

Responsibilities:
Precision and Quality Focus: You will inspect your own work and perform quality checks to ensure all parts strictly conform to engineering drawings.
Blueprint Mastery: You must accurately read and interpret complex technical documents, including engineering drawings, work instructions, and CNC programs, to confirm correct setup requirements and tight tolerance levels.
CNC Programming Expertise: Ability to write or modify CNC programs using software like Virtual Gibbs, including indexing for CNC Mills.
Quality Assurance & Mentorship: Perform thorough inspections on your parts and the work of others within the department.
Finishing Craftsmanship: Execute hand finishing processes, such as deburring, chamfering, and sanding, using both manual and power-assisted tools.
Process Improvement: Proactively identify and recommend changes that improve efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
Compliance: Adhere strictly to AS9100 and ISO procedures and compliance standards.
Continuous Learning: Complete all required trainings, including Security Awareness, Safety, Health, and Environmental (S.H.E.), Ethics, Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking, and Quality.

Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Skills:
These skills would be a fantastic advantage, but they aren't absolute requirements:
Software Edge: Experience with GibbsCAM or similar programming software.
Hyper-Precision Experience: Prior work holding very close tolerances (e.g., $+.0002$ on Lathes and $+.0005$ on Mills).
Advanced Tool Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of cutting tools and machinery across a department setting.
Measurement Proficiency: Comfortably and accurately using micrometers, verniers, and calipers.
Leadership Potential: The ability to provide clear machining instructions and guidance to others.
Independent Drive: A self-starter capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and self-governing daily activities in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to maintain a high standard of attention to detail in all work.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:
Experience & Education: A technical degree and a minimum of five years of directly related experience in CNC machining.
Technical Aptitude: A solid CNC set-up machining background is a must.
Blueprint Expertise: Above-average to expert knowledge in accurately reading blueprints.
Quality Focus: Excellent attention to detail and strong math skills are required to maintain precision.
Communication: Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
Computer Proficiency: Demonstrated competence in computer office programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Regulatory Knowledge: A strong understanding of ITAR and EAR regulations.
