Job Description:

General Labor provides hands on handling of materials, forklift operation, dumping raw materials, packaging finished goods, general housekeeping and any other assignments as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Bagging, stacking, and palletizing bags up to 50 lbs each.
•  Labeling.
• Preparing material for shipment.
• Cleanup of all areas of the plant, machines, equipment, and property.
• Assist in loading or unloading bulk materials into trucks or railcars and dumping materials into bins. 
•  Operating various pieces of equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, and other equipment when authorized. 
•  Make minor adjustments to various pieces of equipment as authorized by supervisor. 
•  Follow safe work procedures. 
•  Record keeping. 
•  Good personal attendance record.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED highly recommended.
• Excellent past and future attendance record.

Experience: 6 months

• In Manufacturing

Skills:

• Ability to learn to safely operate a forklift in a professional manner (training will be provided).
• Works in a cooperative manner at all times with all other co-workers, supervisors, and customers both internally and externally.
