Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive IT Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide first-line support for end users, assisting with technical issues across a variety of organizational systems, hardware, and software. This position involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and maintaining both computer and telecom systems, ensuring smooth operation within our organization. The IT Support Technician will work closely with the senior technical team and other departments to ensure timely resolution of issues and efficient system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for users requiring assistance with computer systems, hardware, and software issues.
- Install, diagnose, and maintain organizational computer systems, hardware, and peripherals. Install, configure, and troubleshoot business systems, hardware, software, and telecom/fax equipment in alignment with documented processes and senior technical team guidelines. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and diagnostics remotely (via phone or email) and in-person on-site as needed.
- Utilize available tools, including ticket management and documentation systems, to track and manage support requests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all activities performed and resolutions provided. Ensure timely resolution of issues, escalating tickets to appropriate technical staff or partner vendors when necessary. Answer phone inquiries and dispatch tickets during high-demand periods or as directed by the senior technical team.
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 6 months
- Experience with telecom systems, fax hardware/software installation, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Related Experience: Proven experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer systems and telecom hardware., Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business software. Familiarity with ticket management systems and knowledge of IT support best practices. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail., Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team., Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle technical inquiries in a clear and approachable manner. Knowledge of networking concepts is a plus.
