This role is responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, submittals, and on-going project documentation. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities will be key to success. Technical knowledge and organizational skills are also essential.
Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of water and wastewater treatment construction projects
Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
Alongside the project superintendent - manage subcontractors, suppliers, and self-perform crews to meet project goals.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, environmental standards, and local/state/federal codes.
Monitor project progress and work with the project superintendent to adjust schedules or resources as needed.
Collaborate with engineers, owners, inspectors, and regulatory agencies.
Review and approve project documents including RFIs, submittals, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
Lead project meetings and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
Ensure all work is completed to specification, on time, and within budget.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience with project management tools and scheduling software, specifically Procore
Experience with public works or municipal contracts
Familiarity with local permitting and inspection processes
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
1-4 years of project management experience in civil, utility, or water/wastewater construction.
Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment systems, sitework, concrete, process piping, and underground utility construction.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Knowledge of OSHA and environmental safety requirements.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
