This is a 3-6 month contract assignment. Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (30-minute lunch); Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Perform required reviews on contracts and ensure timely execution.
Process departmental purchase requisitions as assigned.
Oversee daily contract processing requirements to ensure efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with organizational and state guidelines.
Coordinate review by legal counsel if required.
Follow contracts from origination to full execution, including purchasing if required.
Communicate with department personnel and vendors to address and resolve procurement and contract-related matters.
Maintain a contract database system for status monitoring, reporting, and document retention.
Serve as a liaison for compliance operations and selected external and internal audit activities.
Prepare bid/proposal documents, facilitate selection processes, issue purchase orders, and manage all aspects of RFP processes, including pre-meetings, preparation, evaluation, analysis, modification, negotiation, and consummation of contracts.

Skills:
Contracts and/or Procurement Certification.

Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of related experience in compliance programs and/or activities.
Ability to evaluate and manage highly sensitive and confidential situations.
