Responsibilities:
Leave Administration: Oversee the entire leave of absence process (FMLA, ADA, and disability), ensuring legal compliance. Act as the main point of contact for employees and managers regarding leaves and the return-to-work process.
Benefits Administration: Manage the day-to-day administration of all employee benefit programs, including enrollments, COBRA, and vendor relations. Ensure compliance with regulations like ACA and ERISA, lead the annual Open Enrollment process, and handle the financial aspects of benefits, such as invoice auditing.
Wellness Program: Develop and administer the company's wellness program by coordinating initiatives, managing vendor relationships, and tracking program engagement to support employee well-being.
HRIS & Reporting: Maintain data integrity within the HRIS by accurately processing all benefit and leave transactions. Generate reports for audits and analysis, and assist in testing and implementing system upgrades.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
An active HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CEBS).
Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Proven ability to work cooperatively and build positive relationships with employees, managers, and external vendors.
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5-8 years of direct experience in benefits and leave administration.
In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations including FMLA, ADA, ERISA, ACA, and COBRA.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with HRIS platforms.
Ability to travel to store locations for benefit administration, there are 4 locations on the SWFL coast and 1 location in West Palm Beach.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
