The Professional Division of Spherion Mid Ohio is partnered with an organization in Holmes County, Ohio seeking a Corporate Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory Manager (FSQR Manager). This role offers a competitive salary of $140K to $160K along with a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates should expect 25% to 50% travel, primarily within the United States with occasional international trips possible.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide leadership in food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across multiple facilities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain FSMA Food Safety Plans for new product categories.
- Partner with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to support product innovation, trials, scale up, and commercialization.
- Ensure all innovation efforts align with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with domestic and international teams to harmonize standards and support global product launches.
- Oversee U.S. and Canadian regulatory programs including FSVP, CFIA plans, recalls, and testing.
- Serve as the corporate liaison for regulatory audits and inspections, both domestic and international.
- Maintain established SQF and customer complaint programs with lighter oversight.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of leadership experience in food safety, quality, or regulatory affairs.
- Strong expertise in FSMA, FSVP, HACCP, and Canadian food safety programs.
- Demonstrated success in new product development and R&D collaboration.
- Proven track record developing FSMA Food Safety Plans for new product categories.
- Ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization, including international teams.
- Certifications preferred: PCQI, HACCP, SQF Practitioner, Internal Auditor.
- Food or dairy manufacturing background strongly preferred.
