Job Title: Denial Specialist (Remote)
Start Date: September 1
Pay: $23/hour
Schedule:
Training: 8AM-5PM CST, Monday-Friday (2 weeks, camera on)
Regular Shift: 12PM-9PM CST
One Weekend Day/Month: 10AM-7PM CST
Responsibilities:
Review and process faxes into EMR
Generate denial letters based on medical documentation
Ensure timely processing of correspondence to meet compliance standards
Maintain and update correspondence templates
Track denial metrics and assist with turn-around time (TAT) logs
Collaborate across departments using MS Teams and OneNote
Perform other duties as assigned
Working hours: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Skills:
Experience in health plan or medical denial correspondence
Understanding of medical record documentation
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
1???2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of medical terminology, HCPCS/CPT coding, and the denial process
Strong customer service skills and computer proficiency
Experience with Microsoft OneNote, Teams, and EMR systems
Ability to complete 25???35 calls per day
