We are looking for a Die Maintenance Assistant to join a manufacturing company located in Owatonna, Minnesota.
In this role you are responsible for assisting the die cast team.
The hours are Tuesday - Friday; 5am - 3:30pm.

Responsibilities:
- Obtains thorough instructions from Supervisor, Team Lead, Tool Room Machinist or Tooling and Process Engineer before proceeding with each task.
- Tears down, makes minor repairs on, lubricates and reassembles die to meet production schedules and process standards.
- Turns die casting nozzles to the proper radius required, using an engine lathe.
- Operates in a skillful manner a variety of machinists hand tools and inspection equipment for gaging purposes.
- Will assist with Preventive Maintenance program for Tool Room Machine Tools.
- Reports any malfunctioning machines to supervisor.

- Must be able to work independently.
- Basic math, manual dexterity and skilled use of measuring instruments is required.
