The Director of Client Service Operations will lead customer-facing loan operations, ensure high-touch service delivery, and oversee a team of three loan processors, in addition to managing the end-to-end loan lifecycle from intake through post-closing. Responsibilities:
Team & Pipeline Oversight
- Supervise and coach a 3-person Loan Processing team; ensure team KPIs and SLAs are met.
- Track loan pipeline performance daily; identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Set clear service expectations for responsiveness and client satisfaction.
Loan Origination Management
- Serve as the first point of contact for loan inquiries; conduct initial eligibility and policy review.
- Assign loans to processors based on bandwidth and experience.
- Act as the escalation point for processing or borrower concerns.
Compliance & Documentation Review
- Ensure loan files meet internal and regulatory documentation standards.
- Perform final compliance review and issue Clear-to-Close approval.
- Partner with internal or external compliance resources for resolution of complex issues.
Closing Coordination
- Liaise with Title Companies to confirm accuracy of closing details.
- Review and approve Settlement Statements in accordance with company policy.
- Coordinate wire funding instructions and confirm disbursement completion.
Post-Closing Oversight
- Confirm timely receipt and recording of closing documents.
- Reconcile disbursed fees and monitor outstanding borrower items.
- Maintain integrity and completeness of electronic loan records.
Servicing Coordination
- Manage monthly ACH billing and collections, including follow-up on returns or adjustments.
- Respond to borrower servicing questions and coordinate with internal finance team as needed.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills:
Bridge or fix and flip experience is a plus
Experience with LOS systems preferred
Familiarity with private lending, hard money, or DSCR lending
Exposure to real estate title and closing processes
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in real estate lending or mortgage operations

Minimum 5 years of experience in a client-facing loan operations role
Strong understanding of residential real estate lending
Experience leading or supervising a small operations or processing team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and mortgage/loan origination software
Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
