Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage the site?s EHS management system in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, managing all audits, inspections, reporting, and permit renewals.
Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations, ensuring timely reporting and corrective action.
Conduct risk assessments and job safety analyses (JSAs) and implement hazard controls.
Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and follow-up on corrective actions.
Develop and deliver training programs on environmental health and safety topics.
Lead emergency preparedness and response initiatives, including drills and continuity planning.
Maintain accurate records and documentation required for EHS compliance and performance metrics.
Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, coaching, and communication.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS practices into daily activities.
Drive continuous improvement efforts and support company sustainability and waste reduction goals.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or a similar credential is preferred.
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of EHS management experience in a manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
Proven track record of implementing EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
Experience managing environmental compliance, including air, water, and waste permits.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
