This role involves managing maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs, supervising technicians, and controlling maintenance costs. Optionally, you may also play a crucial role in vehicle acquisition, driver management, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:
??? Prioritize repair orders and operational demands to ensure safe, clean, reliable and efficient trucks that meet our business schedules and exceeds customer expectations
??? Establishing and managing preventative maintenance and inspection schedules, coordinating repairs, and minimizing downtime
??? Monitoring fuel consumption and controlling overall maintenance expenses, and may negotiating with vendors
??? Ensuring the fleet adheres to all relevant regulations and legal requirements
??? Develop/Overseeing employees by training, mentoring, encouraging, and leading employees to achieve goals and objectives
??? Ensure proper safety policies and procedures are in place and followed
??? Effectively communicating with drivers, technicians, vendors, upper management and other stakeholders.
??? Determining the appropriate vehicles for the fleet, negotiating purchase or lease agreements, and managing vehicle disposal(Optional)
??? Perform other duties as assigned
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
??? 2+ years of supervisory experience in automotive, trucking industry
??? Must have heavy duty fleet experience and prior technician/mechanic experience
??? Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
??? Excellent time management and communication skills, be able to adapt to company???s culture quickly, and provide accurate report to upper-management in a timely manner
??? Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring on-time deliveries and prompt communication
??? Basic computer skills, MS Office and fleet management systems experience
