Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, 1-Hour Lunch
Pay Rate: $20/hr. DOE
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire (for the right candidate)
Responsibilities:
Compile and process payroll data including hours worked, taxes, deductions, and leave.
Prepare and input data into payroll systems; review and correct errors to ensure accuracy.
Maintain payroll records and prepare reports for taxes, garnishments, and benefits.
File and remit payroll taxes and manage garnishment orders.
Track leave balances and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws.
Employee Relations & Benefits
Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and discretion.
Support the company???s FAA DOT Drug and Alcohol program.
Administer full employee lifecycle changes, ensuring accurate data entry.
Conduct new hire orientation and process unemployment claims.
Maintain accurate and compliant personnel records.
Assist with employment verifications, I-9 compliance, and HR file audits.
Contribute to HR initiatives, including policy updates, process improvements, and special projects.
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Proficient in HRIS, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Certificate from college or technical school and/or 6+ months of related experience.
HR certification (HRCI or SHRM) strongly preferred.
Knowledge of payroll compliance, employment law, and HR best practices.
