Responsibilities:
Partner with the leadership team to define the characteristics of high potential employees and ensure that our recruiting, retention, and succession planning are geared to identifying these high potential employees.
Remain current on all HR regulatory changes and updates and oversee the writing and revising the company HR policies in a timely fashion. Work with company leaders to ensure compliance.
Administer, update, and maintain all health, dental, and other insurance programs/renewals within the company. Set up all employees on insurance plans. Reconcile billings. Administer all COBRA paperwork, FMLA, and general leave of absences, ensuring paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
Provide leadership to, and be, a permanent member of the Safety Committee.
Administer, update, and maintain company Worker's Compensation insurance, file all claims, record injuries in
OSHA 300 log.
Maintain all employee personnel files and information and reviews for employees, ensuring accuracy and assist
in 401K administration, responsible for any distribution of paperwork upon termination of employment
consistency within departments.
Administer, update, maintain and reconcile company payroll files and systems.
Develop Initiatives that will enhance employee satisfaction and promote the organization within our community.
This will include organized volunteer and charitable activities that align with our corporate value system.
Process all requests for employment verification.
Prepare monthly and quarterly HR reports as needed.
All other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Kronos, Workforce Central, and/or other integrated HR software systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and can upload, sort, filter and manage data over multiple systems
Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize daily tasks.
Ability to collaborate with, and lead, cross-functional teams.
Must be able to meet all physical requirements as outlined in this position description.
Must follow all company policies outlined in the EI Microcircuits Employee Handbook of Personnel Policies.
Highest level of confidentiality required.
5 years supervisory experience preferred. Bachelor's Degree and/or 5 or more equivalent years of experience in the field of Human Resources.
