Responsibilities:
What You???ll Be Doing Initially:
Perform daily inventory accounting, tracking, and reconciliation in our ERP system with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
Monitor production and operations performance metrics and update reporting dashboards.
Assist in conducting cycle counts, audits, and inventory reviews???reporting discrepancies for resolution.
Work closely with production, including 1 day per week onsite at our Sandersville, GA plant.
Prepare reports to support month-end close activities and operational analysis.
Provide key data support for energy usage and other operational statistics.
What You???ll Grow Into:
As you become more confident in your role, you'll take on additional responsibilities including:
Generating statistical and accounting reports for month-end close, audits, and budgeting cycles.
Supporting inventory batch processing, inter-organizational transfers, and resolution of inventory holds.
Maintaining and analyzing site performance metrics, trends, and KPIs.
Acting as a key liaison between operations, finance, and corporate teams.
Taking part in special projects and meetings that drive operational excellence.
Schedule & Flexibility:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM???4:30 PM (with flexibility to shift between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM as needed).
One day per week the Sandersville plant; remaining days in-office at the Wrens facility.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
What You Bring:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Analytical mindset with comfort working in spreadsheets, ERP systems, or inventory platforms (experience with OPM a plus).
Advanced Excel knowledge and ideally adept with PowerBI
Interest in both finance and operations-this role sits at the intersection of the two!
A proactive attitude and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting/finance, or related field preferred. Related experience will be considered.
Experience in data analytics, inventory management, financial analysis, and accounting preferred.
Proficient in Excel and experience with Power BI a plus with ability to adapt to new systems.
Detail oriented and able to multi-task and adjust to changes in work environment and assignments.
