Oversee the entire inventory management process including receiving, storing and
issuing inventory (raw material, consumables and finished goods)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, tracking quantities, quality and
values
Develop and implement procedures for managing inventory, ensuring optimal stock
levels, and minimizing waste or obsolescence
Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies or issues, ensuring stock accuracy and
minimizing losses
Establish and implement cycle count plans to ensure accuracy of inventory records
Communicate with Purchasing Manager and Buyer on any needs on the shop floor
Manage scrap and trash services
Coordinate with other department heads to ensure all inventory needs are provided to
facilitate production processes
Receive all material via ERP System, printing tags for employees
Put away hardware and non-consumable items in carousel/tool crib
Pull/Pre-flush hardware for assembly and welding
Communicate with scrap vendor to ensure excess scrap is removed in a timely manner
Confirm stock and ensuring all employees have proper items in department cabinets
Scan all receiving paperwork for accounting
Collect data for upper management on daily nitrogen and oxygen usage
Communicate needs to purchasing manger and buyer on inventory errors
Work with staff on continuous improvement in each area in building three
Any other tasks requested for purchasing and inventory

Skills:
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Understanding of inventory control methods, stock rotation and inventory forecasting
Proficiency in using ERP systems and other relevant software
Understanding of the broader supply chain process, including purchasing, receiving,
storage, and distribution
Ability to maintain accurate and organized inventory records
Perform accurate calculations for inventory counts, adjustments, and
forecasting
Familiarity with common office procedures and terminology
Manage and organize inventory, prioritize tasks, and maintain a clean and
efficient workspace
Lead and motivate a team, communicate effectively with staff, and collaborate
with other departments
Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, analyze data to improve processes,
and make informed decisions
Maintain accuracy in inventory counts, records, and processes
Manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Work effectively with others, including team members, vendors, and other
departments
Accurately enter data and use inventory management software
Supervise and train team members, delegate tasks, and provide feedback
Identify and resolve problems related to inventory control, such as
discrepancies, shortages, or damage
Adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
