The maintenance automation technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining systems and equipment, PLC programming/troubleshooting and general system controls. 2nd shift 4 pm - 2 am Monday through Thursday. Weekend night shift Friday through Sunday 6 pm - 6 am. Overtime on the weekend shift paid on any hours over 36. Responsibilities:
Review, troubleshoot, and modify PLC hardware, communications network, and programs
Provide support by troubleshooting equipment and connecting to PLC and control systems throughout the production area.
Locate sources of problems by observing devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Accurately keep records of work completed and ensure proper change-management of programs and documentation.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Certification or course work in industrial controls systems or PLC design.
Clean welding experience.
Prior experience with Siemens and Rockwell/Allen-Bradley
Prior experience with ProLeit, Codex, preferred.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Prior experience troubleshooting industrial PLC/controls.
Prior industrial maintenance experience.
Structured text, ladder logic, SFC, function blocks, etc.
Experience with low voltage and Ethernet communication.
