Responsibilities
- Reliability & Efficiency: Develop and implement maintenance procedures, strategies, and programs to ensure the long-term reliability and efficiency of all manufacturing equipment.
- Team & Contractor Management: Manage and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians and external contractors, including daily scheduling and task assignment.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Plan and oversee all PM activities to minimize equipment breakdowns and operational disruptions, conducting regular inspections to promptly identify and resolve issues.
- Budget & Inventory Control: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, tracking expenses and optimizing spending, while maintaining a precise inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and company policies across all maintenance operations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with production teams to prioritize maintenance needs and efficiently schedule necessary downtime for repairs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC systems.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills with the demonstrated ability to motivate, manage, and mentor a diverse technical team.
- Required Knowledge: Solid understanding of safety standards and regulations related to manufacturing operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of work experience.
- Certification in maintenance management (e.g., CMRP).
