2nd Shift Facilities Maintenance Technician - Looking for a "Jack" of all Trades
Will be responsible for maintaining the manufacturing company's buildings, facilities and equipment in an operating and functional condition.
Duties may include any of the following:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose equipment failures, and identify root cause for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Read and understand blueprints technical manuals and work instructions and schematics for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Disassemble, reassemble and test complex machinery and sub-assemblies
- Perform bench operations such as drilling, tapping, grinding, welding, fabricating, etc.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures and techniques
- Install new machinery as required
- Repair plant and office machinery
- Relocate plant equipment
- Ensure equipment maintenance log is completed and maintain complete maintenance documentation.
Working hours: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Must have 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
Ability to read and understand vendor drawings and blueprints.
Ability to use a wide variety of tools.
General knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and local sanitary codes.
Good mechanical skills and experience.
Education:

Qualifications:
- Write and read basic PLC logic
- Electrical repairs or installations
- Plumbing
- Welding
- Carpentry, painting and plastering
- Machine servicing,
- General mechanical maintenance (e.g. Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning or HVAC and sheet metal)
- Troubleshoot, repairs, and maintains facility systems
- Assist in the movement of furniture, materials, and equipment as required
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
- Work with or oversee subcontractor activities as directed
- Respond to facility emergencies after normal working hours
Experience with the following tools is required:
- Mechanic's hand tools
- Powered hand tools
- Forklift
- Boom lift
- Light equipment
- Voltage/amperage measuring/recording devices
- Personal Computer
