will be an expert in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, using a combination of technical knowledge and diagnostic tools to quickly identify and resolve issues. This position requires strict adherence to safety protocols, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with production teams to support a high-volume, continuous operation.
The schedule for this role is 11pm-7am.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain maintenance standards and develop and recommend maintenance programs
Install new equipment using outside services if required
Troubleshoot and make programming adjustments to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and robotic systems (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB). Address faults and clear errors to restore automated processes
Maintain the equipment and facility through preventive/predictive maintenance program
Perform basic welding and metal fabrication to repair or modify equipment as needed.
Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control panels, sensors, and wiring. Work with a range of voltages (e.g., 24V DC to 480V AC) and ensure all electrical work is performed safely and in compliance with code
Keep equipment and facility in working condition for maximum uptime
Working hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Skills:
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to perform tasks independently under general direction
Ability to work overtime as required
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical circuits, controls, and components, including knowledge of 3-phase and low-voltage systems
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is crucial. Technicians need to be able to read logic, diagnose faults, and make minor program adjustments on systems that control robotics and other automated machinery

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalent
Two or more years of experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
Basic to intermediate welding skills (MIG, TIG) for repairing broken parts, as well as general fabrication and machining abilities
Knowledgeable in different controls (i.e. Fanuc, Siemens)
Advanced knowledge in troubleshooting servo motors, drivers, encoders etc
Able to read and understand all codes and regulations
The ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical blueprints to guide repairs and installations
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
