The maintenance technician provide the services of the maintenance requirements of the plant. Consistently meet or exceed production standards and or expectations.
Responsibilities:
1. Performs required maintenance activities.
2. Trains lower class technicians in proper procedures and techniques as required.

3 Troubleshoots and repairs all plant equipment and facilities such as power presses,
welders, power hand tools, lift trucks, spray paint equipment, electronics type
equipment, heating and cooling systems and other assignments as required.
4. Installs new equipment, moves equipment, repairs plumbing and other duties as
assigned.
5. Able to do all maintenance type welding.
6. Conducts preventative maintenance programs as established by Company and
recommends changes and additional programs as needed.
7. Applies all phases of electrical wiring, bot A.C. & D.C. voltages.
8. Requires having completed a 4 year apprenticeship or equivalent in journeyman
experience.
9. Must be capable at working heights above the floor level.
10. Also use electronic measuring devices such as an oscilloscope.
11. Capable of reading complex blueprints and electrical wiring diagrams.
12. Able to apply the National Electrical Code.
13. Requires workmanship type work to assure the safety of others.
14. Required to follow all the safety rules and practices by Company and OSHA
regulations.
15. Comply with the Quality and Environmental policies and all applicable
documentation.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
High school graduate.
Experience in industry and management skills.
Core competency in areas being supervised.

High School

4-7 years
Qualifications:
Four year apprenticeship or equivalent in journeyman experience.
Knowledge of blueprint and specification interpretation.
Capable of reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.
