Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Production: Performing repetitive workstation or line assembly tasks to produce electronic devices, cables, and wire harnesses.
- Specialized Techniques: Using hand tools for crimping, tinning, and soldering electrical assemblies and subassemblies.
- Quality Assurance: Reporting non-conforming materials, and providing technical assistance for quality issues. You may also be involved in testing products, preparing test run records, and identifying yield problems.
- Lean Initiatives: Participating in and providing technical assistance for lean manufacturing improvements and initiatives.
- Workplace Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and following all prescribed safety regulations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Skills: Proficiency in winding, soldering, encapsulation, and assembly techniques.
- Technical Skills: The ability to read and interpret process instructions and other documents. Mathematical skills are also a must, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two-digit numbers.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with coworkers and management.
