Job Description
We are looking for a motivated individual that can work in a fast-paced machine shop environment. This position's primary responsibility is to make new injection molds and repair existing injection molds. It requires the person to be able to operate various machines and maintain them in the Machine Shop. This includes CNC as well as manual machines. Additional duties would be to be able to set up the mold in the injection molding press to verify the mold's operation.

Responsibilities:
- Mold Maker:
Experience in making molds for injection molding machines.
Understanding the process of injection molding to facilitate making/repairing molds.
Disassemble, modify and re-assembly of the injection molds.
- General Machinist:
Ability to read technical drawings
Ability to operate a computer to: Print drawings and Research via the internet items or solutions for various projects
- Manual Machines:
Ability to operate manual machines that include Lathes, Milling Machine, Surface grinders (ID and OD)
- CNC Machine (optional)
Perform routine maintenance of CNC Machines
Maintain all CNC related tooling, keeping them organized and in working condition
Setup jobs in CNC machine
Program CNC Machine via conversational input mode
Load CAM program in CNC machine, double-check the Tool in carrousel and Speeds and Feeds for tools and material
Run CAM program: with minimal risk
- Injection Molding Press (ability to be trained)
Install and remove molds from Injection Molding presses
Some programming changes to test and get molds operational
- Making CNC Programs (optional)
Create CAM program from 3D Model in SolidWorks using Mastercam
Working hours: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
Education: At least three years of mold making experience. At least three years of experience in general machining with some CNC experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, documents such as safety rules, operating and maintaining instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Computer Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and even familiarity with SolidWorks and Mastercam a plus.
