      Spherion Staffing has teamed up with a well-established HVAC company in the Naples area to directly hire a Service Manager. The HVAC Service Manager will create a quality-of-service environment through accountability in the field and supported by the office. Providing continuity in the service & installation department through strong leadership, technical knowledge, and training to organize the team of field service/installation technicians to facilitate a strong service department.Responsibilities:- Responsible for supporting the company policies and procedures through technical support, training, call back resolution and working with dissatisfied customers and supporting the owners and company direction. - Assures that the organization and its mission, programs, and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image. - Oversees and assist with the dispatching of service calls based on urgency, level of service required, contract status of customers, etc. - Communicates regularly with dispatch to ensure that personnel are being scheduled properly by skill level, efficiency and training requirements - Specifies and makes sure that required parts are ordered in timely fashion to ensure work deadlines are met - Prepare and manage HVAC replacement and retrofit projects for emergency and repair HVAC services. - Review maintenance inspections due with dispatcher and assigns mechanics to perform maintenance inspections weekly. - Review of all start up sheets, quality control forms and installation documents - Oversees assigned HVAC service vehicles, monitors vehicles to ensure they are being maintained and operated as required and used according to company policy - Monitors HVAC service vehicles to ensure they are in an acceptable condition to allow technicians to efficiently work out of the vehicle, and that an adequate inventory of parts and material are maintained - Manage and increase service technician performance numbers and metrics. - Supervises and directs the HVAC technicians to effectively perform the functions of equipment repair, installation, start-up, operation, and other duties as required to ensure customer satisfaction - Reviews technicians? work to ensure quality meets established standards, techniques and safety requirements; makes recommendations as requirements to improve quality and productivity - Bring forward challenges you have identified in the field to Operations Manager (OM) and provide solutions. - Implement and enforce new policies and procedures in the field with fellow technicians at the direction of OM. - Participate in the development of policies and procedures to improve the overall performance and function of the service department to ensure consistency, efficiency and quality control. - Required to be on-call and provide a hands on approach - Required to cover for technicians in the field as needed.Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PMSkills:Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate leadership, and be service minded is essentialMaintain a spirit of enthusiasm and positive attitude in the office and interact and be accessible to co-workers.Directs training and indoctrination of workers to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures.Build good personal and professional image in the community and always be confident in customer relations.Recruits, interviews, hires and trains HVAC technicians as required to meet workload demands, and company or customer expectations and requirementsResponsible for HVAC technicians' performance appraisals, reviews and for setting improvement goals per company requirementsPositive attitude and committed to achieving company goalsAbility to Problem solve and be Responsive to provide field supervision and technical support to techniciansHonesty a
