This position starts as full-time (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with the potential to temporarily shift to part-time, depending on business needs. There is also potential for the position to become long-term. Candidates must be dependable, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new systems and processes. The work is primarily sedentary at a desk with occasional walking.
Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting a small, collaborative team. Prior experience in administrative support or logistics is preferred, but not required if the candidate has a strong clerical foundation and eagerness to learn.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Provide clerical support to the Sales Team and Shipping Analyst
Create all shipping paperwork including manifests, packing lists, and Bills of Lading (BOL)
Process shipments through SAP and generate invoices
Print and apply labels for materials and outgoing shipments
Pick and pack orders using the MRP system (label printing, system-based???not physical lifting)
Coordinate with approved carriers to quote and book direct truck shipments
Adapt to daily task changes to support department efficiency
Take on additional special projects or responsibilities as assigned
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience working in a shipping/logistics or administrative support role
Familiarity with creating shipping documents like BOLs and packing slips
Basic knowledge of logistics processes or warehouse operations
