Spherion Staffing is looking for an onsite manager for a customer located on the eastside of Indianapolis. The Onsite Staffing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of our temporary and temp-to-hire workforce at a key client's facility. This role involves a mix of administrative tasks, employee relations, and client communication. Responsibilities:
Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for all on-site temporary employees. Address and resolve employee inquiries, concerns, and performance issues in a timely and professional manner. Conduct regular check-ins with employees to ensure a positive work experience.
Client Communication: Maintain a strong, collaborative relationship with the client's management team. Provide regular updates on employee performance, attendance, and any other relevant issues. Act as a liaison between the client and our corporate office.
Administrative & Operational Duties: Manage timekeeping, attendance tracking, and reporting. Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation. Ensure all temporary employees are compliant with company policies and safety procedures.
Recruitment & Placement Support: Collaborate with the recruiting team to understand client needs and ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates. Assist in the screening and placement process as needed.

Previous experience in staffing, human resources, or a similar role is strongly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or similar HR software is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
