Spherion Staffing is partnering with a premier manufacturing leader in Owatonna, MN to hire a 1st Shift Painter. In this role, you will operate electrostatic painting equipment to produce high-quality painted parts while maintaining work schedules and top-tier safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Actively collaborate with your team to hang individual parts on various sized fixtures.
- Safely remove parts from fixtures after coating and place them into the designated containers.
- Flex and rotate between various positions, equipment, and material movement tasks as needed.
- Maintain strict quality and ISO standards by checking, testing, and inspecting finished products.
- Verify quantities and part identifications to resolve any shop order discrepancies.
- Strictly follow all procedures and safety methods required to maintain an injury-free workplace.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions on the fly.
- 2+ years of experience with electrostatic powder coating is a major plus, but not required, we are willing to train the right person!

1-4 years

- Exceptional attention to detail, precision in your work, and a strong willingness to learn new skills.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
