Our client is in need of a part-time custodian/maintenance tech to assist the Building Manager in several ways. The ideal candidate would conduct routine cleaning and tidying of the buildings and Sanctuary, assist the Building Manager with regular and minor maintenance tasks, and assists with special events as needed. (Opportunity for growth in the position!)
Responsibilities:
Ensures spaces are clean and tidy for ongoing programs, staff, and events at the Society.
Ongoing custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, dusting, wiping mirrors and windows, etc., in addition to specific deep cleaning projects such as window washing.
Maintains inventory of paper goods, sanitizing solutions, soap, etc. and replaces as necessary
Performs maintenance and minor repairs on buildings; reports major damages to Building Manager
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Experience as a custodian, janitor, or similar role preferred
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Knowledge and use of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices
Punctual and highly reliable; Excellent time management skills
Friendly and non-anxious presence
Detail-oriented
